On Christmas every year when opening gifts, the one thing my dad knows to have on him is a pocket knife. Pocket knives make any task easier whether it be opening Amazon packages, cutting fishing bait lines, getting that one horrible string off your clothing, or in the worst case – self defense. For men, carrying a pocket knife for all of these uses is easy… because they have pockets. For women, it is much harder. The argument can be made that women can carry their pocket knives in their purses, but that is no help for the heat of the moment. In any urgent scenario where a pocket knife is needed, the user should not have to dig through their purse to find it. I saw this issue and decided to do something about it and that is where I got the idea for the NeckBlade.
